Creating village based supplementary schools so SC and ST children could access education close to home.
RDO launched supplementary schools in SC and ST hamlets to bring education closer to children facing distance, poverty and human wildlife conflict barriers. The schools operated before and after regular school hours, with residential teachers, nutrition support, uniforms, warm clothing, footwear and textbooks. The programme helped break cycles of illiteracy and connected RDO deeply with village communities through wider development work.
