Securing land, housing, schooling and tea based livelihoods for 52 Paniya tribal families in Gudalur.
RDO worked with Paniya tribal families in Goundankolli who were living in severe poverty and depended on forest firewood collection for survival. When eviction threatened the community, RDO led sustained advocacy and negotiation, helping families secure land rights. RDO then supported tea plantation development, food crops, housing and schooling, enabling the community to build long term assets and a dignified livelihood base.
