RDO implemented a household sanitation project with support from NABARD, focusing on remote SC, ST and BC villages in the Nilgiris. The project enabled families to construct toilets and reduce open defecation, particularly improving the safety and dignity of women and adolescent girls. The intervention also supported healthier living conditions and stronger village sanitation practices.
