As part of ITC Mission Sunehra Kal, RDO supported panchayats to improve rural sanitation through awareness building, technical support and toilet construction. The project focused on individual household toilets and community toilets, helping families shift away from open defecation and strengthening safe sanitation practices at village level. The work has directly improved dignity, privacy and health outcomes, especially for women and adolescent girls.
