RDO’s solid waste work under ITC Mission Sunehra Kal promotes cleaner villages and circular economy practices in the Nilgiris. The project supports household level segregation, door to door collection, composting, recycling and cluster level waste processing. By helping panchayats reduce unmanaged waste and landfill dependency, the programme protects fragile hill ecosystems while creating cleaner and healthier settlements.
