RDO implemented micro watershed projects under the Hill Area Development Programme to improve water security, reduce soil erosion and support rainfed agriculture in Ooty Block. The work included watershed identification, check dam construction, water pumping to farms, afforestation and soil moisture conservation. It helped strengthen climate resilience and agricultural productivity in vulnerable hill communities.
