Documenting tribal knowledge of herbal medicine and indigenous healing practices for preservation and wider learning.

RDO supported a detailed study of local health traditions and folk medicine among tribal communities in the Nilgiris. Siddha doctors met tribal healers and community members in remote villages to document herbal plants, preparation methods and indigenous knowledge systems.
