Under the Indo Australian bilateral exchange programme, RDO hosted around 270 Australian university students over eight years. Volunteers stayed with local host families, learned about Badaga culture and contributed to village development activities including school repairs, sanitation drives and sports activities. The programme built lasting relationships between young people, host families and local communities.
